Dagny Elise Carlsson

Dagny Elise is a rising third-year master’s candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is pursuing degrees in Architecture and Landscape Architecture. She holds an undergraduate degree in Architectural Design from Stanford University. ​ As a proud citizen of the Shawnee Tribe and the Cherokee Nation, Dagny Elise is inspired by generations of tradition and believes that the future of sustainability and resiliency involves integrating Indigenous knowledge into contemporary architecture. After graduating, is interested in working in Indian Country to design tribal housing, healthcare centers, and cultural landscapes. ​ At Penn, Dagny Elise is a founding member of Penn NAMLA and serves as the current co-President of the Weitzman School’s student council. She is very glad to be working with ISAPD!
